​April 11. Quarterly LVW meeting at Greensburg Library from 12pm to 2pm.

April 11. Workshop with Walt Peterson at the Greensburg Library from 2pm to 4pm. Please RSVP via the event page, as there are only 20 seats available.

​

April 15. Call for entries for LVW’s 20th annual Flash Fiction Contest. Three cash prizes plus three Honorable Mentions, no entry fee, editing by a professional editor, readings of the six winning stories during the Halloween season, and publication at LVW's website. Deadline is August 15.

April 17. Extended Deadline for The Loyalhanna Review submissions.

​

April 25, 4:00-5:00 pm. Student Poetry Awards Ceremony at Hempfield Barnes & Noble. The winning poets in grades 4-12 will read their work to the audience.

July (Date TBA), 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Loyalhanna Review publication party. Enjoy readings, hors d’oeuvres, and camaraderie.

August (Date TBA), afternoon. Annual LVW picnic. John and Sukey Jamison have generously invited LVW to hold our annual picnic at their farm near Crabtree.  

 

August 15. Deadline for Flash Fiction Contest entries.

 

October (dates TBA). Readings of the winning Flash Fiction stories at local venues.

 

December 6, 3:00-5:00 p.m. Annual LVW Christmas Party. St. Michael’s of the Valley Church, Rector.
