Valley Writers’ Conference to Take Place July 16, 2011
The
24th Ligonier Valley Writers’ Conference will take place at the Rogers Center at St. Vincent College in Latrobe on Saturday, July 16.
Four renowned faculty members will work with both emerging and experienced writers. As always, workshops will be offered in poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. This year there will also be a workshop on
playwriting.

Registration
fees range from $95 for LVW members who register by June 10 to $120
for nonmembers who register late.
To
kick off the LVW Conference weekend, Ligonier Valley Writers is hosting a publication party for the 2011 edition of its literary magazine, The Loyalhanna Review. The party will be on Friday,
July 15, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Latrobe Art Center on 819
Ligonier St. in Latrobe. Loyalhanna Review authors will read from their work. Beautiful paintings and photographs (some of them reproduced in the magazine) will be on display in beautiful surroundings. Guests will have a chance to talk with the authors and artists whose work is featured in the magazine.
